Walther Strong Sleeper Tape is designed to protect smooth hardwood and softwood railway sleepers used in landscaping and ground contact applications. Even pressure treated sleepers are vulnerable to moisture ingress at exposed faces, joints, and fixing points, which can lead to premature rot and structural degradation. Sleeper Tape addresses this risk at source.

Using a specialist non-butyl, polymer based adhesive, Sleeper Tape forms a durable, waterproof seal that blocks moisture, oxygen, and UV exposure.

Engineered for soil contact and high moisture environments, Sleeper Tape seals exposed faces, overlaps, and joints to protect sleepers from weathering and ground level deterioration. It also self seals around fixings, preventing water ingress at common failure points without cracking or peeling.

Designed for landscaping projects where longevity matters, Sleeper Tape significantly extends the service life of sleepers used in raised beds, garden edging, pathways, and retaining structures. It is easy to apply, tears cleanly by hand, and can be used on damp timber or in cold conditions, making it ideal for on-site installation.

NOTE: Please ensure your sleepers have had 1 day of drying before applying tape to desired surface.
