Description

Walther Strong Post Tape is engineered to protect timber fence and gate posts at their most vulnerable point: just above and just below ground level. This critical zone is where moisture retention, fungal attack, and rot are most likely to occur, significantly reducing the lifespan of posts if left unprotected.

Using a specialist non-butyl, polymer-based adhesive, Post Tape forms a durable, waterproof seal that blocks moisture, oxygen, and UV exposure. The adhesive penetrates into the timber and cures over time, creating long lasting protection without cracking, peeling, or degrading.

Suitable for both treated and untreated timber, Post Tape works alongside all chemical and non-chemical wood treatments without compromising performance. It remains flexible, UV stable, and effective in harsh outdoor environments, making it ideal for long-term ground contact protection.

Designed for practical, on-site use, Post Tape tears cleanly by hand, requires no tools, and can be applied to damp timber or in cold conditions. During installation, it can be repositioned easily before forming a permanent bond, ensuring accurate placement every time.

We acknowledge that there are other size posts of a bespoke length or width however all rolls of tape are 20M in length and should be able to envelope your desired post at least once upon application. If you desire strips only then please contact us directly or contact your local merchant to stock individual post saver strips.
