Interior Liquid Tape
PROTECTIVE, PEELABLE COATING AND MASK
Once dry, forms a strong, flexible and easily removable membrane. Walther Strong Interior Liquid Tape is a water-based yellow/transparent gel that has a variety of uses and applications.
APPLICATIONS
For the construction, renovation and automotive industry, Walther Strong interior liquid tape is ideal as a protective mask for sills and ornaments during sandblasting, painting, plastering and grinding. Excellent protection for vulnerable parts during renovation and repair work.
Also widely used in the arts and crafts industry as a masking fluid, or mix with frocking and a quality acrylic paint (any colour!) to create tactile 3D effects.
Especially useful for window arts. Works well either painting freehand or with stencils. When finished, simply peel away ready to create your next design.
FEATURES
EASY TO APPLY 10/10
Apply on a clean, dry surface with a brush, roller or airless spraying device (nozzle type 635 – remove filters). The thicker the layer the easier to remove – application of at least 500ml/m² (0.5mm thickness) per coat. Apply two layers for the best result. Only suitable for indoor use.
STICKINESS 2/10
Good adhesion to practically all surfaces as a temporary membrane. Does not slip. Not intended as a permanent coating.
CLEAN RELEASE 10/10
Once finished the renovation or needing to remove, simply peel away the flexible membrane. This will remove cleanly from the surface.
PROTECTION 10/10
Protection against scratches, paint, plaster, cement, PU foam – ideal for the construction industry.
Only suitable for indoor use. Drying time of 1 – 2 hours at 23°C/50% RV. Clean off tools with water before the gel dries. Always test the surface/substrate first. The product should not be used on any sandblasted timber or fabrics.
