Howarth Timber & Building Supplies encompasses a network of 33 timber and builders’ merchant branches geographically spread across the country, complemented by dedicated manufacturing divisions supplying highly specialist timber engineering products and services.
The group has achieved Chain of Custody certification covering all divisions, proving compliance with government specifications for timber sourced from legal and well-managed sources. The accreditation also confirms that the company meets the requirements of the construction industry’s independent third-party audit organisations. Howarth Timber started taking the NO1 Timber moisture protection back in 2022 and since then hasnt looked back.
You can now find Walther Strong Deck tapes in all stores across the UK. Other bespoke timber protection tapes can also be ordered upon request.
WHY DECK TAPE IS MAKING A STAND:
Since is conception in 2020 Decktape and Decktape Pro have been going from strength to strength gaining greater recognition and understanding from Timber merchants and Timber suppliers.
Since the establishment of the partnership with Accoya in 2022, brand awareness of the timber moisture protection has only gotten stronger with Walther Strong’s flagship product ranges growing in interest and recognition.
Decktape benefits were so useful that sister products such as Post Tape and Sleeper Tape were created to ensure that the full landscaping suite was adhered to.
With these products now all available through branches or online orders, no project will be undergone without the necessary products for build longevity. The adhesive cures into the wood and then breathes with it meaning no cracks or tears once applied, in addition to that the adhesive will self seal around the tape ensuring no moisture penetration once pierced.
