Walther Strong HD Post Tape is specifically engineered for incised timber posts, providing advanced protection where standard post protection methods fall short. Incising improves preservative penetration but leaves small indentations in the timber surface, creating ideal pockets for trapped moisture and accelerated decay. HD Post Tape solves this problem.

Using an advanced M50+ morphing rubber adhesive, the tape actively flows into and fills the incisions in the timber, eliminating voids where water can sit. Once applied, the adhesive cures into the wood, forming a continuous protective barrier that blocks moisture, oxygen, UV exposure, and harmful microbes — the primary causes of ground level post failure.

Designed for use at the most vulnerable section of a post, just above and below ground level, HD Post Tape delivers long term protection without cracking, peeling, or degradation. It is completely weatherproof and suitable for harsh outdoor environments where posts are exposed to constant moisture and temperature changes.
