HD Post Tape is the ultimate solution for extending the life of timber posts. Designed with advanced M50+ morphing rubber adhesive, the tape effectively fills the indentations left by incising, preventing water from being trapped on the surface. This unique adhesive ensures that moisture, UV rays, and harmful microbes are kept away from the timber, which is especially important at ground level, where posts are most vulnerable to decay.
Note: Store in a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight. If the tape is difficult to remove from the backing, pull firmly at a 45 degree angle, the adhesive should release cleanly from the plastic.

| Use Case |
Step 1: Measure & cut
For 3×3 or 4×4 posts, use the pre-printed guidance on the tape to ensure precise cutting. Simply cut along the designated “CUT HERE” line corresponding to your post size—either 3×3 or 4×4.
For posts of other sizes, measure the post carefully and ensure the HD Post Tape wraps around with no less than a 50mm overlap to maintain a secure and effective seal.
Step 2: Apply to posts
To maximise its effectiveness, apply the HD Post Tape 50-75mm above ground level to protect your posts from rot, UV degradation, and microbial damage.
Step 3: Install
Place the post into the ground, ensuring the ground level guidance arrows are just covered. There should be 50-75mm of HD Post Tape above ground level to provide optimal protection.
