John W Grant and son Ltd was established in June 1968 by John Wilson Grant who had experience of trading with independent builders merchants. His Vision was to create a business where knowledgeable staff and customer service was a priority together with product quality and competitive pricing.

2024 with JW:
In 2024 the JW Grants relationship with Walther Strong blossomed with agreements being made of a nationwide supply of key product lines to benefit both merchant and end consumer.
Our Likeminded ethos resonated with the company and our innovative product range meant that Walther Strong’s product range could stand apart when held against its competitors.
