CASE STUDY: Jeddah

In 2023 Walther Strong was asked to supply a third party, on behalf of their client about soundproofing marinas in Jeddah by some high profile builds.

A well known Jeddah project sourced Walther Strong HD Marine Acoustic tape  or ‘HD Acoustic Tape’ for its intense properties to irradicate sound disruption within its marinas.

Once tests and sound reverberation effect testing was complete the first bulk order of HD Acoustic tape was shipped to the country for install.

The effects were so well received that since our first instalment we have had regular orders for the product. Its unique rubber crumb layout was designed with a bespoke adhesive so that the tape could be laid out and bonded to the desired surface in addition to having the option to fix the tape to the surface without it affecting its noise cancellation properties.

Heavy Duty Acoustic Tape (Marine Acoustic Tape) is a new innovation from Walther Strong that was designed specifically off the properties of its sister product – ISO Acoustic Tape – but with a more heavy duty concept to them.

Heavy Duty Acoustic Tape is made from a rubber crumb formulation that also has a firm, powerful woven mesh adhesive layer to ensure no matter what the surface – the tape can bond to it and begin its curing process.

The tape itself once having attached itself to the surface layer can then be screwed on (if required) being absorbed by the rubber crumb formulation meaning when contact is made with board, framework or otherwise, there is minimal no reverberations!

We have now shipped over 5 large orders to Jeddah ensuring Walther Strong is soundproofing Marinas all over.
