As we bid farewell to 2024, Walther Strong reflects on a year of remarkable achievements, innovation, and growth. From delivering industry-leading products to expanding our global reach, we’re thrilled to share the highlights of a truly ground-breaking year.
This year, we provided enough ALKAMAXX-coated reinforced render mesh to cover the entirety of Hyde Park in London—an impressive feat that highlights the scale of our operations in 2024. Hyde Park, known for its vast expanse and iconic landmarks, serves as a fitting comparison to demonstrate the sheer volume of material we’ve supplied to projects worldwide.
2024 was a record-breaking year for our scrim tape. With an astonishing 48 million meters sold, we’ve supplied enough tape to circle the globe at the equator 1.2 times! Specifically, our 50mm x 90m Orange Scrim Tape alone accounted for over 20.7 million meters, underscoring its popularity among our customers. These numbers showcase how Walther Strong continues to build connections—both figuratively and literally—around the world.
Innovation took centre stage this year with the launch of seven new products designed to meet our customers’ evolving needs. From entirely new solutions like Rough Surface Tape to enhancements like twin packs of our Ultimate Duct Tape, these developments showcase our dedication to providing versatile, high-quality products that keep us ahead of the curve.
